A Little Old Florida Is Showing Up on Main Street

If you've walked past the future home of Grove & Grain lately, you may have noticed that the front of the building is looking a little different.

While construction continues inside, we've started bringing a little life—and a little Florida—to the outside.

Our new hand-painted mural is beginning to take shape, transforming the entrance into a scene inspired by Florida's citrus-growing past.

Bringing the Grove to Grove & Grain

From the beginning, we've wanted every part of Grove & Grain to feel connected to the Florida stories that inspire our spirits.

The mural carries that story right onto the front of the building.

Rows of citrus trees filled with bright fruit now surround the entrance, framed by painted timbers and details designed to make the storefront feel like you're looking through an old Florida citrus grove.

It's especially fitting here in Brooksville, where citrus was once an important part of the area's agricultural history—and where that history has already helped inspire Aquabelle's Gin, our tangerine-forward Florida gin.

And just like the building itself, the mural isn't finished yet.

A Work in Progress

If you're wondering about that bright white door in the middle of all that Old Florida scenery—don't worry. That's not the final look.

Construction is still happening every day, and with crews, materials, tools, and equipment moving through the entrance, finishing the door now would mean risking damage before we ever get a chance to open it for you.

Once the heavier construction is complete, the door will receive its finishing touches, including a wood-look treatment that will tie it into the painted timber surrounding it and complete the scene.

For now, we're leaving that last piece unfinished on purpose.

The Details Are Starting to Tell the Story

Watching the mural develop has been one of those moments when the vision we've had in our heads starts becoming something everyone else can finally see.

The citrus trees. The timber framing. The ornamental details surrounding the storefront. The historic brick building behind it all.

Piece by piece, it's beginning to feel like Grove & Grain.

There's still plenty happening behind these doors before we're ready to welcome everyone inside, but we're going to keep sharing the process—the finished parts and the works in progress.

Because someday, when the bar is built, the stills are running and glasses are being raised inside, we want to remember exactly how we got there.

For now, consider this another little glimpse of what's coming to Downtown Brooksville.
